Job description

·Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes and conveyors

· Experience troubleshooting manufacturing or industrial equipment

· Experience reading technical diagrams and schematics

· Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance routines and practices

· Willing and able to climb ladders and complete tasks at heights over 20 feet

· Willing and able to work any shift to include variable start times, nights, overtime, weekends, and holidays

· Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment, i.e.: safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots and other PPE as required by specific jobs

· Participating in a Preventative Maintenance (PM) program

· Collaborating with operations to identify and prioritize maintenance needs

· Recording work results and parts usage in computerized maintenance management system

· Language Skills

· Ability to read and write, analyze and interpret daily logs, tech tips and procedure manuals

· Ability to present information and respond to questions from customers, co-workers, supervisors and management

· Reasoning Ability

· Ability to apply common sense, as well as solve complex problems, ability to logically work through mechanical problems and production breakdowns. Make reasonable decisions, based on information gathered and / or provided

· Other Skills

· Stick welding and acetylene torch experience is preferred

· Knowledge of power and hand tools required

Experience in all areas is not required; however, Pay will be based initially on experience and adjusted per demonstrated skills and performance.

Pay: Up to $30.93 per hour
