No experience is necessary; we will provide all the necessary training in our training facility and in the field. Maintenance Technician First year technicians can earn from $40,000 to $80,000, plus bonus incentives General duties: Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on furnaces, coils, and compressors Demonstrate Respect and Compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records Completes all tasks in accordance with Shafer Heating & Cooling LLC quality and safety standards Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities (internal and/or external) General Requirements: Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work with high degree of integrity and promote positive company image Analytical, Focused on Quality, and Results-driven Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check Valid driver’s license, with minimal DMV infractions Working Conditions and Physical Effort: Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof) Moderate physical effort required, including standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time Moderate exposure to physical risk To Apply: For more information, please visit our website at www.shaferhvac.us or give us a call at 937-466-2755.
