Maintenance Technician
Job description

- Minor carpentry and painting.
- Install hydraulic pumps.
- Fixing safety hazards.
- Minor plumbing repairs, as allowed by local ordinance.
- Assess heating systems.
- Minor electrical, as allowed by local ordinance.
- Understand basic electrical principals.
- Switch/outlet replacements.
- Minor masonry.
- Sidewalk repairs.
- Minor pointing.
- Assembling furniture.
- Installing appliances.
- Other duties as required may be assigned to this role.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance role or relative trades.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver license and a clean driving record as determined by our insurance carrier.
- Is knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures in general maintenance and repairs.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle check.
- Must be able to give work direction and work well under pressure and deadline driven.
- Must have good communication skills and be an effective listener.
- Must be reliable, possess a positive attitude and can work independently.
- Must have general maintenance tools with reliable transportation to perform employment responsibilities.
- Ability to carry and climb extension and step ladders.
- Work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends when required.
- Must be able to work a rotating 7 day on call schedule.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
