Maintenance Tech I - 2nd Shift
A Maintenance Tech I performs routine and non-routine maintenance on plant equipment and machinery. Including machine lubrication, chemical changes in wash/dip tanks, belt changing, and equipment inspections to minimize repair cost and prevent equipment failures.
The schedule for this position is 3:30pm to 2:00am Monday-Thursday with overtime required on Friday from 12pm to 6pm or 3:30pm to 2:00am. Candidates must be able to train on 1st shift for 90 days 5am to 3:30pm Monday-Thursday, 5am to 11am or 3:30pm on Fridays. Saturday work is limited but possible based on company needs.

- Follow preventative maintenance and inspection measures for machinery and equipment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk and hear. Sitting 10%, standing/walking 90%. Frequently lift and or move up to 35 pounds to 50 pounds.

Other requirements include:
- High School diploma or GED is required. AA/AS in Maintenance Technology, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
- Experience with 3 phase motor control
- Knowledge in Industrial electricity and maintenance
- Fork truck and scissor lift certified
- Basic computer literacy/experience required.
