Taldeco is seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. Your expertise in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs will be vital in minimizing downtime, maximizing productivity, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Conduct inspections, lubrications, adjustments, and replacements to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.

Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, including mechanical, electrical, and control system issues. Utilize diagnostic tools, schematics, and manuals to identify root causes and implement timely and effective repairs. Collaborate with vendors or external contractors for complex repairs.

Machinery Installation and Setup: Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery. Coordinate with engineers and production teams to ensure proper integration, alignment, and calibration of machines. Conduct functional tests to verify proper operation and performance.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar field. Experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment is essential.

Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and control system issues. Familiarity with motors, drives, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs is highly desirable.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
