MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

1. Assist in problem analysis and provide guide for countermeasure
2. Analyze MTTR (mean time to repair) and MTBF (Mean time between failures) and train to continually reduce repair time.
3. Manage and improve preventative and predictive maintenance based on MTBF and MTTR analysis
4. Analyze production line downtime daily and manage pending issue, regular/irregular TPM, CIP, etc.,
5. Assist in mechanical and electrical machine specification
6. Analyze equipment performance and implement plans for improvement
7. Report and document any equipment and/or process abnormalities
8. Analyze and optimize mechanical and electrical issues to increase productivity
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Assist in the installation of new automated manufacturing and facilities equipment
2. Investigate root causes and perform corrective actions
3. Work in continuous improvement efforts for machine capacity utilization
4. Provide engineering support and training to technicians
5. Assist in the installation and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
6. Understand internal/external safety and ergonomic guidelines.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assumes other duties as assigned by the Vice President/ Director.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

1. Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
2. 10+ years of experience in maintenance and engineering in a manufacturing
environment with lean manufacturing
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD or Solidworks or similar tool
4. Proficiency to read and understand mechanical/electrical schematics and blueprints
5. Strong foundation of problem-solving skills and machine operation data analysis ability
6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
7. Familiarity with TPM, CIP and QRS
8. Experience with Lean Manufacturing & 6 Sigma tools preferred
9. Experience in SAP or MES production & maintenance analysis or ERP preferred.
