We are looking for highly dependable team players to join our staff as Maintenance Electrician working 7pm to 7am. Here’s what you will do:
- Repairs and installs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical & electronic components of machinery and equipment - following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical & electronic test equipment.
- Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, connects cables and wires between machines and equipment - following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical & electronic test equipment.
- Detects malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures using test equipment and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables using hand tools.
- Tests malfunctioning machinery using test equipment and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers, such as machine repairer, maintenance and tool maker, maintenance to diagnose malfunction.
- Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors and positions sensing devices using hand tools.
- Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors.
- Possibly plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
- Possibly diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment.
- Wear proper PPE – headgear, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses and clothing when required.
- Complete daily assignments (long and short term) as instructed by Maintenance manager in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment to detect or assess problems.
- Observe, receive, and obtain information from all relevant sources.

Training in vocational schools, related on-the job experience, or an Associate Degree.- 3-5 yrs. of experience as an industrial/manufacturing electrician technician.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- PLC programing capabilities including troubleshooting and modification abilities.
- Experience with Due Solutions a plus
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- English fluency a must and Spanish fluency a plus
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable climbing up ladders
- Ability to work independently or as a team member.
- Good interpersonal communication skills with all levels of management.
- Background or experience in the food production industry a plus
- Able to legally work and currently reside in the United States
