JMA Placement is hiring Machine Operators in Monticello, Ga! $16-20

Position Summary

The Machine Operator is part of a rotating position within the production plant. Primary responsibility is running the baggers which produces up to 50 lb. bags of horticulture product. Other responsibilities include maintaining quality specifications and general housekeeping duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Operate bagger safely and efficiently.

· Maintain preset production goals.

· Maintain quality specifications based on product.

· Trouble shoot machine issues.

· Remove out-of-spec bags and hand stack for reprocessing.

· Cut open rejected bales for reprocessing

· Perform general housekeeping duties.

· Perform additional duties as required.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

· Previous manufacturing experience preferred

· Experience with CNC equipment preferred

· Ability to obtain forklift certification (training provided)

· Excellent verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently, as well as to collaborate in a team environment

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to be at work on time and as scheduled

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Monticello, GA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Machine Operator: 2 years (Preferred)
