Immediate opening for Promar Precision Engine Rebuilders. Promar is a production engine remanufacturer, a member of the PERA (Production Engine Remanufacturers Association), and AERA (Automotive Engine Rebuilders Association), has been in business for over 30 years and is proud to maintain an A+ BBB rating.

Promar has multiple positions open and is looking for a dependable, intelligent, self motivated employee to start ASAP.

-Employee will assist with various parts the remanufacturing process of cylinder heads & engines for cars, trucks & boats.

- Certain positions require a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery.

-Employee will be given parts, detailed written instructions (with pictures) & will assemble the head/engine following our detailed procedures.

-Must be able to use basic hand tools; I.E. Hammer, Sockets & Ratchets, Torque wrench, Impact Gun, and various measuring devices.

-Must be able to work with extremely close tolerances and practice good quality control principles.

-Certain engine components must be measured using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, dial indicators, dial bore gauge)

-Applicant must have a great work ethic and maintain excellent attendance.

-Must be physically able to lift 70LBS, wear steel toe boots and stand on feet throughout the 8 work day.

-Must be a team player and have the willingness to learn and improve as all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.

-Salary depends on previous experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
