SUMMARY

As the Machine Operator, you will be responsible for miscellaneous tasks associated with operation machinery in a production environment, setting off cased product onto pallets and removing production waste throughout the plant. You will work at our Indianapolis Bakery plant, and earn $19.05 per hour, plus $0.50 shift differential. You will report to the Team Lead.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Operate a machine in the production area.
  • Pick up and remove waste from production line floors and containers. Push waste carts to dumpster area.
  • Troubleshoot in production
  • Work overtime as required to achieve production and maintenance schedules.
  • Interact effectively and professionally with coworkers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in a production, manufacturing or distribution environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in an automated machinery environment

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sit, stand, walk and climb stairs
  • Lift/Carry/Push/Pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Repetitive motions including reaching, loading, inspecting, and touching product
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate monitoring equipment
