We are looking for a Woodshop Assistant with experience using wood cutting tools and pneumatic nail guns. They need to have strong basic math skills and can use a tape measure accurately along with having respect for the safe operation of these tools. This role has opportunities for advancement.

Major Areas of Responsibilities:

• Building custom pallets, crates and cutting down wood to exact sizes.
• To perform your task safely and follow all the safety procedures
• To help in other areas of the business when needed. This can include assembling boxes, assembling foam dunnage, working with the assembly department on large pack outs.
• Maintaining a clean environment.
• At the end of each shift you will be expected to be part of a thorough cleaning of the shop.

Other tasks that may be Required

• Fill out shift reports
• Document inventory

Required Knowledge Skills and Ability:

• Ability to use a Tape measure accurately.
• Must be able to read, add, and subtract fractions and decimals
• Must be team-oriented, organized, detailed and able to perform physical activities
• Must be willing to work overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to push 50 lbs
• Must be able to work in a standing position all day.
