New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS)

New York Cancer Specialists (NCYBS), a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking a Float LPN to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation. Clinics from Southampton to NYC. Practice manages a freestanding outpatient 7-day per week Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy and Research department.

In this role, you will:

• 
  Must be able to float as needed to several locations
• Giving medication as prescribed by a Physician.
• Taking vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature and weight.
• Injections of medication.
• Immunizations.
• Obtaining patients medical histories.
• Entering information into EMR computer systems.
• Starting IV’s after certification as well as phlebotomy.

We require:

• Must be licensed in the State of New York as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• At least 1 year of working in a medical facility.
• Good computer knowledge.
• Able to start IV’s helpful.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus.
• Compassionate patient care.
• Must be vaccinated for covid-19

Salary up to $34 per hour.
