Job Title: Logistics Specialist Sr.
Labor Grade: 6U

Essential Functions
- Conduct annual joint inventories of government property with 30LRC/CC Equipment Accountability Element personnel and other government elements when applicable.
- Support Property Management with annual government property audits.
- Coordinate adjustments of accountable records with Property Management.
- Property tag government assets with IUID property tagging identification.
- Process and properly dispose of government property through disposition instructions provided the Government Property Administrator and coordinated with property management.
- Provide guidance on the disposition of property and material to RGNext personnel when needed.
- Receive and off load incoming materials and property, checking for discrepancies and process through the Cost Point receiving module.
- When applicable ensure new Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) is processed to the Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) facility for calibration at Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB).
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Must have the ability to operate and be computer proficient to generate different Logistics reports when applicable, maintain accountable records for hand tools, property, materials, and receipts that are essential to Logistics Support operations.
- Must have ability to operate different size forklifts and other warehouse equipment, training will be provided by RGNext, LLC
- Ability to operate a computer and become Maximo proficient
- May be required to train lower level grade employees, when applicable
Required Experience
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 2+ years of related warehouse logistics experience.
- Proficient with operating a computer, to include Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment, forklift operation experience.
- Experience with the movement and handling of hazardous material in accordance with regulations preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the Air Force SBSS preferred
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach
- Occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds with assistance.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
- Salary determined by Collective Bargaining Agreement
- This position is assigned to Vandenberg AFB, CA
- Must be fully vaccinated from the COVID-19 virus, which means two weeks have passed since a single-shot vaccine or the second dose of a two-shot vaccine. Requests for medical or religious accommodations will be considered on a case-by-case basis
