JOB DESCRIPTION: We're Taylor Postal Contracting, Inc., now in our 91st year of hauling mail, and we’re expanding into local freight. We’re looking for two full-time local delivery drivers for shifts beginning at 9:00pm and 10:00pm. These are freight trips between Marysville and Sterling Heights. The freight is no-touch, and no logging is required. Note: Our Seniority Policy allows drivers to select another shift based on time on the job.

BONUS: $1,000 signing bonus! It’s payable after four months.

THE WORK WEEK: Is Monday through Friday, and we typically operate three round-trips per shift, running 8-9 hours daily. These are regularly scheduled local trips that begin and end in Marysville. There will be occasional weekend trips that pay overtime. There is no reduced "detention pay" or unpaid time during the shift. All hours are "on the clock" and fully paid at the hourly rate.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS: Applicants MUST have paid tractor-trailer driving experience and a Class A CDL. MVR and background checks are required for this position. Drivers for this position must carry a smart phone with texting and voice mail capabilities.

EQUIPMENT: Tractors are 2019 International LP625 tandem-axle day cabs with automatic transmission. Trailers are 2019 53-foot dry vans.

PAY:

• $1,000 signing bonus
• $23.20 per hour base rate
• Two weeks paid vacation (equals $.90/hour)
• Ten paid holidays (equals $.90/hour)
• Total hourly rate equals $25.00
• Three weeks paid vacation after 1st year
• Four weeks paid vacation after 4th year
• 401(k) with 33% employer match
