Job Overview
We are seeking a Loaner Fleet Administrator to help our 20+ dealers manage and improve their loaner fleet utilization, cost recovery, and loaner availability for our customers. Our ideal candidate has experience in accounting, data analytics, and is comfortable with interacting with automotive dealer managers. A knowledge of loaner car programs such as Dealerware, TSD, Logitrac, or other fleet management systems is preferred but not required.
To ensure success, a Loaner Fleet Administrator must show proficiency in analyzing the loaner fleet KPIs and constantly improving the loaner fleet process at each dealer.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve fleet sizes and fleet KPIs across the enterprise and consult with dealers on recommended process steps to improve results.
- Ensure dealers are following established best practices in loaner process by conducting regular check ins.
- Maximize asset potential by managing depreciation, inventory cycling and utilization.
- Facilitate training for new dealer support staff with loaner program software vendor.
- Create process documentation and present new processes to management as needed.
- Travel to select dealers as needed for onsite support. Travel will be less than 15%.
- Align dealer loaner fleet sizes with OEM expected fleet sizes.
- Manage relationship with loaner program software provider by relaying dealer feedback on improving technology and process changes.
- Collaborate with Inventory, Accounting, and Sales teams on regular fleet audits.
- Manage recurring loaner fleet KPIs alerts to dealers and implement new alerts based on feedback.
- Ensure group-wide contracts, policies, and fees remain consistent at each dealer.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related qualification.
- 1-2 years working experience in automotive or similar industry.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel to analyze data.
- Strong ability to communicate and explain results to others.
- Ability to travel to dealer locations on the west coast as needed.
- Previous experience in the auto industry with fleet management is preferred but not required.
