VOLUNTEER ONLY position!!!

Restoration Church is looking for a sound engineer to mix audio during worship services and special events. The sound engineer will set up, troubleshoot, and operate sound equipment in worship and special events to provide optimal sound quality in the sanctuary and on our live broadcast. The sound engineer will also be in charge of instructing other members of the media crew on how to operate equipment and mix sound during worship. Several members of the media team are responsible for live stream video, audio, and confidence monitors. This function would allow for a greater covering of the existing audio/video requirements.

Digital Mixing Bored Model: Behringer X32 40-channel Digital Mixer

Required:

Attend all church-wide special events and worship sessions (with the exception of 1-2 planned absences per quarter).

Set up, troubleshoot, and run sound equipment for worship and special events.

Develop relationships with church employees, volunteers, and members.

Live sound training and at least 2-3 years of sound engineering expertise are required.

Preferred:

Service in a church or religious environment is preferable.

Experiment with different music genres.

Strong communication abilities, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail are required.

Bring your entire personality.

Hours

• Sunday: 9:30-3:30
• Wednesday: 5:30-10:00

Other Production Team Needs: Camera Operators (2+), Service Coordinator (1), Videographer/Editor (2-3+), Photographer/Editor (2-3+)
