Primary Responsibilities
We have several openings for lifeguards starting now and through the summer, 2023.

Under general supervision, ensures the safety of patrons of an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Prior to shift, opening facility, and at the end of the shift, close the facility. Must be able to work at least 1 shift (1-3 hr. shifts) per week and be available weekends.

Minimum Qualifications
Current American Red Cross Lifeguard (or like qualifying organization) Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.

Ability to pass a pre-employment physical skills evaluation as stipulated by the Aquatic Director.

Must be at least 16 yrs of age.

Preferred Qualifications
Prior Lifeguard experience is preferred.
First Aid preferred but not required.

A copy of current Lifeguard and CPR for the Professional Rescuer certifications may be sent to Robert Clemmer, Aquatic Director at rclemmer@stlawu.edu or applicants can posses hard copy of certifications when attending first interview. Selected applicants under 18 years of age will also have to provide proof of work authorization (AKA working papers).
