• Provide weekly triadic and group supervisor to registered associate therapists.
• Managing the recruitment, development, and appraisal of clinical staff.
• Attending meetings.
• Manage own caseload of patients.

• Case consults as needed by licensed staff - add to the chart notes.
• Clinical Supervision (pre-licensed staff) - document as appropriate.
• All letter requests.
• CPS or other breaches reviews.
• Safety concerns and how they are managed.
• Email: communicate with the team in a timely and effective way; respond to non-urgent items within 72 hours or sooner when possible (often).
• Text messages: available via Text from clinical staff for emergent matters and respond in a timely way (rarely).
• Review and approve notes of newly licensed staff for the first 90 days for licensed staff (pre-licensed sent to clinical supervisors).
• Ongoing training support for staff and ensuring office policies are followed (Covid and otherwise).

• Counseling youth and loving this work: 2 years (Required).
• Willingness to work with couples (preferred).
• Experience with military populations (preferred).
• Ability to clinically supervise (required).
• Team player (required).
• Bilingual (preferred).
• Telehealth experience (preferred).
• Prior management experience of licensed clinicians.

Grow Though Life Counseling is a team of excellent psychotherapists with a mission to help youth in San Diego and Riverside Counties. We know early intervention makes a lifelong difference. We provide counseling services in San Diego County and Murrieta for children, teens and families. We treat anxiety and depression and most other mental health diagnosis and concerns. We help families with losses including: divorce, death, deployments and moving with a special interest in helping children with developmental or social delays. We provide family counseling, individual counseling and group counseling. We treat all ages and have multiple locations: Eastlake Chula Vista, Scripps Ranch, Sorrento Valley, Oceanside, La Mesa and Murrieta.
