Posting for RPLS
Growing Land Survey Company currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced Professional Land Surveyor, R.P.L.S. to join our staff at PRO-SURV

We service the Houston Metropolitan Area. Individuals must be self-motivated and able to work well with others. Typical RPLS responsibilities include:

• Direct or conduct various types of surveying including boundary, topographic, ALTA/ACSM, subdivisions, construction stakeouts, etc.
• Perform various survey calculations and sign and seal survey drawings
• Interpret and verify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations
• Prepare or supervise preparation of all survey data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys
• Search legal records, survey records, and land titles to obtain property information
• Write descriptions of surveys for use in deeds, leases, or other legal documents
• Attend various meetings, seminars and/or training classes
• Maintain excellent client relations
• Maintain a safe working environment

Requirements, Skills and Abilities:

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, a *RPLS License* in Texas and have 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of work experience and education. *Strong organizational skills with an emphasis for detail and meeting deadlines *Ability to plan and execute projects from start to finish in a timely and efficient manner *Excellent written and verbal communication skills *Working knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and/or comparable data processing software *Knowledge of all types of surveys, ALTA’s, Boundary, and TOPO surveys along with construction staking and GPS experience.
*Candidate must be legally eligible and insurable to drive to regular assignments.
