Equivalent ExperienceUrgently Hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician for a leading Pharmacy with multiple locations across Long Island!
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately filling, packing, labeling, and stocking medications
- Filling bottles with measured amount of medication either manually or mechanically
- Assisting in clean air room using sterile technique in filling and labeling injectable prescriptions
- Assisting in the preparation/labeling of IV additives
- Assisting the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medication
- Entering orders into the computer terminal for refill purposes
- Maintaining records of stock and inventory control
Skills & Qualifications:
- IV Room experience
- NYS Pharmacy Technician license
- PTCB certification
- Experience with Pxyis (automated medication dispensing system)
Locations Available:
- New Hyde Park
- Riverhead
- Bay Shore
Pay Rate: Up to $27/hour depending on experience!
