ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs massage therapy and touch modalities, which may include Deep Tissue, Sport, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Prenatal and Reflexology.
  • Completes S.O.A.P. notes, maintains accurate documentation and filing of client files after each visit. Follows HIPAA compliance.
  • Conducts massage consultations, recommends stretches for clients at home maintenance, and provides guidance and wellness advice to clients.
  • Maintains the treatment rooms in a neat professional manner, including stocking products and linens, cleaning and instrument sterilization. Sheets are laundered by other staff; however, this position requires that you replace massage linens on tables so that the room ready for the next client.
  • Contributes to self-marketing strategies.
  • Arrives ten (10) minutes prior to scheduled work time and may be required to stay ten (10) minutes later beyond work schedule if still with client.
  • Conducts massage therapy and massage modalities as appropriate to patient care.
  • Maintains licensure, malpractice insurance, and registrations as required by state law.
  • Presents a professional, well groomed appearance. Works effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of work progress, timetables and issues; addressing problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A current valid Colorado state massage license required. Prefer a minimum of 2 years of previous massage therapy experience.

SUPPLIES AND OTHER PROVIDED SERVICES:
All supplies are provided, including but not limited to massage table, sheets, lotions and oils, hot stones, and more. Booking of patients, payment processing, billing, and so forth are also provided by the office.

COMPENSATION:
Pay is hourly per table time and negotiable based on experience.

HOURS:
Up to 30 hours per work at your descretion and afternoon availability only--appointment times will vary but generally 1-6pm and an occassional Saturday morning.
