MINTbody Medical Spa and Wellness is an upscale medical and day spa located in Cypress, TX. We offer a wide range of luxurious spa services ranging from medical grade facials, and body scrubs, to non-invasive cutting-edge medical spa treatments such as Laser Hair Removal, Cosmetic Injections such as Botox & fillers, Skin Resurfacing, Body Contouring, Hormone Pellet Therapy, Weight Loss, and Vitamin IV Therapy.

We are looking for a Licensed Esthetician and Laser Technician who has around two years of experience and is willing to learn and grow with our team. The successful candidate will perform facial and body treatments, and product sales, and assist the nurse with some procedures, some admin responsibilities, and housekeeping.

Essential Duties:

• Evaluating guest's skin and assessing problems and conditions; and consulting with guests about recommended treatments
• Performing facial and body treatments such as facials, microdermabrasion, micro-needling, hydrafacial, and chemical peels
• Ability to perform laser hair removal, body contouring, skin tightening, IPL photo facials, and other skin rejuvenation procedures
• Assist the nurse with hormone pellet procedures and patients preps
• Assisting with prepping and up-keeping of the treatment rooms, staff room, laundry, and bathrooms
• Some responsibilities to maintain the reception area, answering the telephone professionally
• Administering consent and signed release forms, guest care forms, and recommended homecare forms
• Maintain and sterilize equipment, treatment rooms, and workstations in compliance with OSHA standards and MINTbody protocols
• Stay up to date with training and education on skincare and spa lines while proactively promoting products to guests
• Complete training required and provided by MINTbody and our vendors
• Dedication to achieving and maintaining a retail-to-service sale ratio
• Complete side work, and open and closing duties as directed by the manager
• Networking with prospective guests and actively engaged in building a clientele
• Contribute to social media content and posts
• Staying up to date on current licensing changes and abiding by all rules and regulations associated with licensure

Qualifications and Experience

• 2+ years experience with professional skincare lines such as Image, Revision, Bioline, Skin Medica, etc.
• Active license by the State of Texas Esthetics
• Knowledge in working with Laser Hair Removal, Body Contouring, Microdermabrasion, SkinPen/Micro-needling, HydraFacial, and Muscle Sculpting.
• Must have schedule flexibility to include some evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Self-motivated, hard-working, goal-oriented and a team player
• Approachable with a positive attitude, quick learner and multi-tasker
• Natural ability to educate and sell guests on products and treatments
• Must be flexible and mobile and willing to operate the laser and aesthetic machinery and lift up to 20 lbs
