Job description

Andy's Hub is assisting a client in their search for a 1:1 assistantant for a child with SPD (sensory processing disorder). The chosen candidate will need to be able to report to the child's school Monday to Friday between 8am and 11am. The ideal candidate will have some experience working with children with additional needs.

The displayed hourly rate range is a guide, and pay will ultimlatey be dictated by experience.

Requirements

- Be a minimum of 18 years of age

- Complete a background check ($30 fee applies)

- Show no records on the: County Criminal Report, National Criminal Report, National Sex Offender Registry List or the National Terrorist List

- Provide two excellent work related references

- Complete a video and inperson interview

- Have strong communication skills and be fluent in English

- Be eligible to work in the United States and hold a valid Social Security Number

- Hold valid Identification (Passport, Drivers License, State ID etc.)

- Refrain from smoking, consuming alcohol and using illegal substances immediately before and during placement hours

- Have access to Zelle, Chase QuickPay or a checking account.

• We prefer if you:

- Can commit to the rest of the academic year 2022-23

- Hold a high school diploma

- Have some experience in an educational setting

- Have completed first aid training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
