What does a Lead Prep Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola?
In this role you will oversee the initial steps in our remanufacturing process. You will be a liaison between teams to ensure equipment is brought in, torn down, and recycled properly.
Responsibilities:
- Guide employees to meet daily productivity expectations for the customers of the remanufacturing centers
- Ensure processes are followed, and supplies maintained in the shop for production needs
- Maintain tools and equipment for efficient and safe operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment in the prep area
- Work closely with shipping/receiving team, to ensure correct equipment is brought in for remanufacturing
- Recycle any appropriate parts, including fluorescent bulbs, stainless steel, plastic, etc.
- Tear down, and clean equipment in preparation for remanufacturing
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to operate and/or use all types of hand and power tools
- General knowledge of equipment and experience with diagnosing & repair preferred
- General knowledge in Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft word and/or inventory system is preferred
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as assigned
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and safely work with hands above the head
