Position Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to provide professional and quality business and functional consultancy services on Supply Chain function and Oracle E-Business Suite R12. Leads demand and prioritization meetings with both end users and IT. This individual will partner with business and technical teams to improve the current processes and to implement new functionality to ensure the technology is leveraged to the fullest. Focus on both the US region and also globally. The role is also to provide day to day support, on the job training, and knowledge sharing to the existing team members and end users. This is a Sr. Manager level position.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Business Consultancy & Demand Management:
- Oracle SME to assist business users and IT team members in Oracle EBS
- Understand business problems, processes and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals
- Implementation services to Oracle applications ensuring projects, enhancements and changes are designed and performed
- Interact with business user community to determine and document new functional or technical requirements; work with other IT professionals to implement solutions
- Work with Supply Chain function to identify and prioritize process improvements and system opportunities
- Implement new functionality, enhance system capabilities, and improve existing solutions
- Create test plans, test cases, test scripts and perform functional testing working with end users and Development team
- Operation Support:
- Provide applications support including troubleshooting, resolving issues, training, documentation and tracking of tickets within the support ticketing queue
- Project management, independently plans, organizes and oversees resources to achieve the goals and objectives of small or large projects, influences all aspects of project executions
- Review and maintain existing configurations/setups and make corrections and changes as needed with appropriate documentation
- Act as the liaison between business and technology teams to review business processes, understand requirements, perform fit/gap analysis, evaluate options and make recommendations
- Primary focus on Supply Chain with secondary focus on Procure to Pay & Process Manufacturing
- Research and identify emerging technologies or trends to create value for the supply chain environment
- Define, develop and document proposed high-level solutions, and facilitate the deployment of business enhancing projects
- Analyze technical risks and advise on risk mitigation strategies
Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in implementing/supporting Oracle Supply Chain modules.
- Having >=75% business functional skills and <= 25 technical skills
- Possess core skills in the following areas - Oracle Order Management, Pricing, Shipping, Inventory Management, Warehousing, Logistics, & Procurement
- Participated in multiple end-to-end implementations in the above areas
- Secondary skills in the following Advanced Planning, Receivables, & Credit Management areas
- Good understanding and cross stream knowledge of Order Management, Shipping, Receivables, Credit Management, Inventory Management, Warehousing, Logistics, & Procurement
- Proven skills in leadership, relationship building, collaboration, advocacy, governance, and consensus building
- Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills (facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution) at all levels
- Ability to translate technical ideas/designs to multiple audiences, including Executives
- Team player. Proven ability to work effectively within a large organization that operates using a matrix organization
- Proven project management experience
- Experience in business process analysis, use case development, gap identification and system configuration to meet business needs.
- Experience in preparing functional requirements, test case documents and planning and execution of project milestone sessions (CRP, SIT, UAT).
- Proficient to Agile or Scrum methodology
- Ability to multi-task and efficiently prioritize tasks assigned.
- Ability to travel – up to 25%
