Our client is looking for a fun, compassionate, and energetic full-time Lead Infant Teacher to join their premier preschool in Stafford, VA. Job Responsibilities:

· Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, effectively and professionally with school personnel, children, and parents

· Ability to create lesson plans using format preferred by school administration

· Ability to understand and support the education program using “learning through play” philosophy

· Ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times

· Ability to change children’s diapers and/or assist with toileting (where necessary)

· Ability to lift items/children ~50 pounds

· Ability to multitask in a lively environment and work well within a team

· Ability to handle crisis situations, including assisting in evacuating the building during emergencies

Qualifications:

· CDA , AA or BA in ECE or related field required

· At least 2 years of experience working in a licensed ECE facility preferred

· A desire to grow professionally

· Meet background check eligibility

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
