Landscape Installer Crew Member

A growing, fast-paced, full-service lawn and landscape company seeks full-time installers and Crew Leader. The preferred candidate is an energetic, highly motivated individual with experience in the lawn and landscape industry.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Position Type: Full Time (year round)

Location: Fort Walton Beach

Schedule: Monday -Friday, 7am -5pm, additional/flexible hours as required including Saturday.

Basic Position responsibilities:

As an Landscape Crew Member, you will be responsible to the field operations manager while promoting the company brand.

Essential Duties:

• Operate landscape equipment and tools including, but not limited to, MultiTrac and Skid Loader, Tamper, cutter, Saw, Etc
• Enforcement of company safety program
• Safely transport equipment from site to site
• Manage equipment to ensure proper maintenance schedule
• Track and report on inventory levels
• Perform effective time management and tracking
• Complete paperwork and mobile applications as required
• Maintain project schedules and report on project progress
• Follow tasks and directives as given by Hardscape Foreman

Education:

• High School Diploma strongly preferred
• 2 or 4-year degree desired, however, years of experience will be considered

Work Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in residential lawn care or related is strongly preferred, but will train the right person.

Knowledge/Skills/Licensing:

• Must be able to obtain Medical DOT health card
• Valid driver’s license required with clean driving record
• Reliable transportation required
• Proficient in operating lawn, and landscape equipment
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to operate mobile and other cloud based technology
• Detail oriented
• Strong work ethic
• Forward thinking mentality
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., perform repetitive labor and work in inclement weather
