SUMMARY Assist Student Records staff with auditing student education records for past and present students and converting them from paper to electronic. Communicate effectively and work with district employees and individuals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned:

Audit and update student education records for 2022 graduates, 5th graders, 8th graders, and withdrawn students implementing district policy and State and Federal law.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of student folders.

Verify accuracy of scanned records in document management system.

Ensure confidentiality of students, families, and staff.

Observe name changes and update academic and demographic information in files per district policy and state law.

Attend training and request guidance during each step of the process to ensure accuracy of records.

Provide feedback on the electronic management system, procedures, and future enhancements. .

Assist with documentation of department and school procedures and participate in process improvement exercises.

Interpret and use good sound judgment to implement district policy, regulations and State and Federal laws concerning student records.

Perform other duties as assigned.
