The Slot Technician is responsible for performing on-site repairs, maintenance, installations, conversions and removals on all Konami game platforms. They must have great customer service skills and be able to provide on-site training to customers on game functionality and operation.
The pay range for this role is $24-$30 hourly depending on experience.
- This will be Wednesday Sunday from 11:00 AM 7:00 PM
What will you be doing?
- Performs all on-site service functions (installations, service calls, conversions, PM, etc.) on KGI games within an assigned territory.
- Reviews work orders and related manuals and schematic diagrams to determine tasks to be performed and tools, equipment, and parts needed for installation or repair assignment.
- Independently performs repairs on KGI game equipment.
- Performs preventive maintenance, installations, and modifications on KGI Gaming devices.
- Demonstrates excellent technical and troubleshooting skills to consistently achieve resolution and satisfaction.
- Completes work orders for repairs and coordinate with customer service to requisition replacement equipment; coordinates returns or exchanges of materials.
- Completes timely and accurate service tickets and submits to customer service to facilitate issue tracking and invoicing of reimbursable services.
- Maintains an accurate inventory of equipment within service vehicles; coordinates with customer service to replenish equipment as it is used.
- Maintains a positive image of KGI within the industry by providing exceptional service to both internal and external customer.
- Escalates issues that cannot be directly resolved to service management for prompt resolution.
- Maintains current knowledge of all Konami game platforms.

What skills and expertise do you bring to the job?
- 2+ years of experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of slot machines and their relevant systems.
- This work experience needs to have occurred in a casino environment where a high level of customer service was a priority. Seeking applicants with experience in electrical, electromechanical, electronics or computer equipment.
- This position must remain flexible to meet the needs of our business. This may require availability to work on holidays, weekends, nights and on-call in addition to the regular work week. Additionally, out of state travel may be required on occasion to perform work in jurisdictions outside your area.
- Mandatory: Field Service Techs drive frequently to client sites in the area and are required to have a clean Driver License that is in excellent standing with the DMV. The ability to move and lift heavy equipment within measured guidelines (75+ lbs) is required while strictly abiding to all safety policies. This position requires Gaming Control Board approval (as well as approval in other gaming jurisdictions) and must meet their requirements based on an applicant's background.
