POSITION SUMMARY
The Knowledge Management Coordinator is responsible for identifying, organizing, managing and disseminating information to ESD personnel. This team member proactively seeks user needs and provides the appropriate knowledge using an organized process. The Knowledge Management Coordinator helps establish processes and procedures that facilitate knowledge distribution and performs research and analytics to transform knowledge into usable assets that provide value to the business units. The Knowledge Management Coordinator works with the Technical Support Services team as well as the Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing, Project Management and Project Delivery departments to facilitate knowledge use across ESD.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and review data entered into systems or knowledge repositories to verify integrity, focusing on record quality, completeness, standardization and duplication to ensure trusted information is available and accessible for on-demand generation
- Review the development of system-automated templates and documents, such as lessons learned, project profiles, project lists and resumes
- Identify and help to implement continuous process and system improvements to increase efficiencies across functional groups
- Obtain, manage and analyze client and personnel feedback utilizing survey software platform
- Provide recommendations from feedback and knowledge gathering information to develop demonstrations, design guidelines, presentations, process review, training, etc.
- Organize, analyze and distribute quantitative and qualitative information and metrics from data systems and feedback platforms
- Manage data analytics initiatives and projects, including data gathering, analysis, visualization and summarization as requested
- Develop and maintain workflows, dashboards and reports in collaboration with each business unit leader to allow them to successfully measure and analyze their goals and initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL SETS
- Analyze data systematically, drawing sound conclusions and translating into timely decisions and actions; balance "analysis" with "action"; translate data into concise information for the everyday user
- Evaluate the purpose and content of reports to develop new or improve existing format, use and control; review reports to determine flow, format, frequency, distribution and purpose; recommend establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve content and function
- Promote learning and knowledge sharing across all business units; impart experiences across business units regarding innovative approaches, success stories, lessons learned, risks and other feedback
- Possess expert organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite proficiently with an advanced knowledge of Excel, Adobe products and web-based tools; be able to learn new applications and resources quickly
- Provide excellent customer service to internal customers; understand the principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including assessing internal/external customer needs, meeting quality standards for services and evaluating customer satisfaction; respond promptly and effectively to customer requests as appropriate
- Communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner; demonstrate strong written, oral, and listening skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel across all functions and levels
- Show results-oriented initiative and a willingness to engage in tasks and challenges beyond stated responsibilities; be flexible and eager to learn new skills; set personally challenging goals and exert effort toward mastering tasks
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in technical or business field required
- Minimum 2 years of experience with enterprise data systems, content management and information processes
- Minimum 2 years of experience editing, proofreading and producing documentation and reports for audiences across different functions and levels
- Proficiency with experience management platforms (e.g., Momentive, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) a plus
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, Tableau) a plus
- Experience with data science and analytic tools (e.g., Python, R, SAS, SPSS) a plus
