Kind Therapeutics USA is a medical cannabis company dedicated to providing medical cannabis to Maryland certified patients and caregivers. Kind is a premier Grower and Processor of medical cannabis products serving Maryland and operates in a highly controlled environment providing a broad range of high quality, competitively priced medical cannabis products. POSITION SUCCESS CRITERIA:

Safety-minded production Kitchen assistants for cannabis product processing. Working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely. Holds a valid Food Service Manager certificate. Follows good manufacturing practices at all times.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials.
• Perform general maintenance of equipment, tools and workspace
• Clean glassware
• Clean sensitive equipment
• Work at a fast pace in a high production environment.
• Operate technical machinery
• Use spreadsheets and email
• Perform setup and cleanup tasks
• Preparing Kitchen equipment and tools
• Cleaning and maintenance of Kitchen equipment and facility
• Maintaining strict inventory records of all product and equipment used in the Kitchen
• Washing and sterilizing laboratory and kitchen glassware.
• Performing clerical work related to Kitchen activities such as record keeping

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
• Submit to a Federal and State background check
• Meet the requirements delineated by the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC) for agent employment
• Must have reliable transportation
