Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the warehouse and shipping departments with multiple tasks, having the willingness to switch from task to task as assigned; including working in JIT, VLM and Auto Store areas of the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick JIT customer orders using VLM's, AutoStore or carts.
• Inspect cartons for damage and incorrect labeling.
• Print labels and apply to cartons.
• Verify orders are accurate and complete and label boxes.
• Check parts in verifier screen.
• Assist in the HOT Cells.
• Put away product into VLM's, AutoStore or racking.
• Maintain a clean, neat and organized work area.
• Be actively involved in proactive measures towards safety for self and co-workers.
• Other activities and roles as may be assigned including work in other areas or dept.
• Ability to meet job expectations and duty changes as required by changing company needs.

Essential Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and work instructions or procedure manuals
• Math skills used add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and to compute rate, ratio and percentage
• Critical thinking skills necessary to solve practical problems
• Basic computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.20 per hour
