We are currently looking for a highly motivated and skilled Junior Home Remodeling Project Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Job Summary: The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for assisting in the management of residential remodeling projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
· Plan and manage multiple residential remodeling projects simultaneously.
· Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and successful project completion.
· Participate in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting.
· Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and proactively resolve them.
· Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders regularly.
· Maintain positive relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their concerns and needs.
· Perform site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
· Prepare and maintain project documentation such as contracts, change orders, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, and project reports.
· Manage project budgets and expenses, including tracking project costs, analyzing variances, and recommending corrective actions.
· Participate in project close-out activities such as final inspections, punch lists, warranty documentation, and client handover.
· Identify opportunities to streamline project processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
· Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate, including permits, inspections, and approvals.
· Assist in the selection of subcontractors and vendors and manage their contracts and relationships.
· Participate in the training and development of project team members, including mentoring and coaching.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in AEC Management or related field preferred, or the equivalent of 5 years of experience in residential remodeling projects.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
· Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
· Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.
· Proficient in Microsoft/Google Suites and project management software
· Knowledge of reading project plans, building codes, construction practices, and safety standards.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, including the ability to lead and motivate others to achieve project goals.
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
· This position requires physical activities such as lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods. All candidates must be able to perform these tasks safely and effectively to ensure the successful completion of residential remodeling projects.
· Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
