We serve our community by providing employment development services and placement assistance for employment. Our programs are supported by profits generated primarily through the sale of donated goods in our Retail Stores. We have 17 retail stores and 2 employment and training centers operating in a region spanning Manistee to Holland to Cedar Springs.

Job Summary
Responsible for managing the Janitorial program as well as ensuring the effective coordination and execution of all external custodial contracts.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage budget to control expenses and meet revenue goals.
- Responsible for all bid preparation and related contract negotiations.
- Schedule and assign jobs for custodial contracts.
- Responsible for the training and development of all custodial staff.
- Perform regular on-site inspections of all contract locations.
- Ensure the maintenance and service of janitorial equipment.
- Responsible for effective inventory control and purchasing of janitorial supplies & equipment.
- Maintain SDS books and other required documentation.
- Provide direction and feedback to assigned staff to include on-going coaching to improve performance and completion of performance reviews.
- Perform job duties of the Janitorial Supervisor and Technician, as needed.

Education
- GED/diploma required
Experience
- 1 year of experience in Leadership experience required
- 2 years of experience in Janitorial experience required
Certifications/Licenses
- Valid driver's license and insurance required

- Mobility: Required to stand; frequently walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
- Dexterity: Requires hands to manipulate, feel, reach, lift and/or carry.
- Sensory: Able to see objects, and colors at close range or distance, peripheral, and depth vision, and communicate orally with normal hearing decibels.
- Lifting: Medium work (frequently lifts and/or carries 25 to 50 lbs using safety measures in place.)
- Driving: The operation of a motorized passenger vehicle or other vehicles such as forklifts.
