JOB TITLE: Help Desk Support Technician

STATUS: Non-Exempt
HOURS: Full Time (40 hours)
TUITION: Non Taxable
LOCATION: Fort Lauderdale

You will:
  • Respond to and resolve all assigned help tickets in a timely manner
  • Setup new computers for staff members
  • Troubleshoot Windows and Mac OSX operating systems
  • Perform hardware repair on computers when necessary
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace printers
  • Perform Basic IT training for new staff members
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues and run cables as necessary
  • Create and replace ID badges
  • Travel to campuses when necessary
  • Research new technologies to better the department and Church/CCA departments
  • Keep up with inventory and maintain all inventory policies
  • Present the best customer service possible when serving staff members
  • Communicate well consistently with help tickets
You have:
  • A high level of experience troubleshooting Windows and Apple computers
  • Experience working with Google G Suite
  • A+ certification or other entry level IT certification
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • A passion for technology
  • A passion for serving people
  • An ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task
  • An ability to simplify complex issues
What you are required to know:
  • We are an EEO employer
  • You may have to bend, sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, lift, pull, push and/or move up to 35 lbs
  • This is a full-time (40 hours/week) hourly non-exempt position.
  • You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies
  • As an employee of and an associate minister of the Gospel, Calvary Chapel expects all employees to:
    • Participate and lead regular times of prayer, devotion and worship as a regular aspect of your role on staff
    • Teach from the Bible in the appropriate environments inclusive of staff meetings, conferences, camps and/or outreach events

Staff culture is important to what we do. To love like family, we require all staff to attend all staff meetings, department meetings and serve with a willing heart especially at all major campus events. Full time (40 hours/week)
