Job description
The Invoicing Specialist is responsible for administration of our customer invoicing process and related activities. The Invoicing Specialist will be part of a team responsible for executing our customer invoicing procedure, processing customer credit card transactions, generating customer credit memos, and administering our customer sales tax process.
You will:
- Execute and maintain customer invoicing procedure
- Review, sort, and adjust invoices as necessary
- Perform electronic invoicing through various channels (e.g. e-mail, web portals, etc…)
- Quickly respond to internal and external invoicing inquiries
- Process customer credit card transactions
- Update and maintain key invoicing metrics
- Maintain strict adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements related to invoicing process
- Update and maintain customer sales tax information utilizing sales tax software
- Generate and issue customer credit memos
- Send out customer statements
- Monitoring the email mail boxes
You have:
- Two or more years experience in an accounting, customer service, or administrative capacity
- Two or more years of invoicing experience
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft office
- Proven ability to set clear priorities and demonstrate strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and are a detail oriented individual
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and a strong sense of urgency
