What to Expect: 1)Most packages weigh less than 50lbs and automation technology is used to reduce physical labor 2)Retrieve and sort incoming packages. 3)Prepare deliveries by either gaylord, sack setup or pallet stacking. 4)Load packages into the system and identify special handling needs. 5)Use technology like scanners, computers and automation for improved accuracy and speed. 6)Perform all additional duties as required.

salary: $17.5 - $18.5 per hour

Responsibilities

Preferred (Not Required):
1)Prior handling, fulfillment, warehouse or equivalent experience.
2)Working knowledge of small package and conveyor systems.

Physical Demands and Abilities:
1) The ability to lift 5 lbs., but occasionally up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations
2) The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends
