Overview:
Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Inventory & Process Manager, the Inventory Control Supervisor will lead Warehouse Associates, gather data and conduct analysis with the goal of understanding, validating, and reporting the accuracy of inventory at the facility. This position will develop and maintain inventory metrics relating to Dole inventory in our own warehouses and any consigned to our third-party partners. Responsibilities:

Ensures all transactions impacting inventory quantities in SAP are complete, accurate and timely, as well as in line with proper GAAP, SOX standards for Dole Packaged Foods- Develop and implement material resource plan to enhance product flow, optimize order fulfillment, and minimize inventory investment while consistently meeting customer expectations
- Develop policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality delivery and cost control
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures dealing with auditing the accuracy of inventory
- Utilizing EDI, monitor all communications with manufacturing and warehouse and resolve any errors or issues on a timely basis
- Conducts physical inventory counts and corresponding reconciliations
- Work with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for improvement and develop/implement best practices
- Identify and resolve root causes of inventory losses, working with cross-functional partners to problem solve and implement preventative measures
- Responsible for preparing/reviewing necessary inventory adjustments and claims with department management
- Manager 5-8 warehouse employees
- Other duties as assigned

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organization- Strong understanding of inventory control procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience in leading continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) preferred
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required
- Experience with SAP is required

Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree. If no bachelor’s degree candidate must have 3+ years’ experience in supervisory role in supply chain or manufacturing.
- 3+ years logistics or manufacturing experience
- 3+ years supervisory or management experience
