Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Manager will ensure that all inventory items are properly Received, Stored, Labeled, Staged, Produced and Shipped in accordance with Company Policy. Salary Range $40,000 -

$60,000
Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Ensure all Inventory Control staff are properly trained.
• Assign duties and tasks for the Inventory Control staff.
• Collaborates with area managers to ensure proper flow of inventory is followed and implemented where necessary
• Work directly with production departments for tempering product, staging product, and documenting each movement of the product within the Parity Inventory Software
• Ensure proper inspection forms are completed accurately for Received inventory, transfers, Returns and Shipments
• Train area managers on correct inventory practices using software and/or manual processes

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies in production runs, receipts, transfers, and purchases.
• Oversees the locations of inventory plant wide, maintains master item listing with specifications
• Ensures proper labeling of inventory for Production, Transfers, Purchases and Shipments
• Communicates with Purchasing Department as needed regarding new items, changes of location, par levels, damaged product received, etc.
• Communicates with Quality Control regarding product storage, Customer specifications as well as any changes regarding item descriptions and/or new and obsolete items
• Ensures compliance to all Safety, Quality and Personnel Policies
• Communicates with Sanitation to ensure safe practices regarding food products
• Maintain Data for SQF Audits as well as Customer Audits within the plant
• Operates forklift as needed.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Thorough understanding of food safety and best practices regarding manufacturing safe products.

Education and Experience:

• 3-5 years' experience of inventory control within a manufacturing facility
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Accounting experience using Sage 100 or comparable software preferred but not required
• Must have experience using inventory control software as well as training others to use it properly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
