EnviroTech Building Services is looking to add an Inventory Clerk -Warehouse Maintenance Technician to our team. Our ideal candidate will have mechanical skills, previous inventory experience and a dedication to getting the job done accurately and efficiently.

Job Summary:

The Inventory Clerk – Warehouse Maintenance Technician will run the daily functions of the warehouse including product purchasing, maintaining an accurate physical count and distribution of materials upon request. Laundry functions to ensure an adequate supply of cleaning cloths and floor mopping materials. Light equipment, vehicle and facility/grounds maintenance. This position will require time spent in the warehouse and time spent out in the field at customer locations.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm

Pay Rate: $22.00 to $25.00/hour ($45,000 to $52,000/year) based on experience

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• May oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of a part-time subordinate employee in the department.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all materials management for our commercial janitorial service and supports operations team members with timely procurement and distribution of inventoried items.
• Conducts research with vendors to source the best products at the most economic price-point. Refers acquired information and makes recommendations to his/her superior.
• Places orders for materials and supplies. Receives deliveries and verifies accuracy and acceptability of purchased goods.
• Reviews, authenticates and fills supply requests from various management personnel in a timely and efficient manner.
• Coordinates supply deliveries to jobsites via vendor drop shipment and/or direct deliveries from warehouse.
• Conducts monthly and periodic inventories to ensure physical count is highly accurate.
• Manages and facilitates laundry activities to ensure an adequate supply of fresh and sanitary cleaning cloths and floor mopping materials. Performs basic repairs and maintenance of laundry equipment. Coordinates larger/complex repairs with certified vendors.
• Performs minor equipment repairs on vacuums and floor machines and coordinates larger/complex repairs with certified vendors. Maintains truck mount carpet cleaning equipment and monitors all systems to ensure safe and dependable operation. Coordinates and monitors critical service requirements and major repairs with certified vendor/s.
• Performs basic vehicle maintenance including ensuring vehicles are clean, presentable and safe for operation. Monitors service-intervals for oil changes, tire rotations / replacement, etc. Maintains detailed records of same.
• Maintains records of all warranties and recalls for equipment, laundry and vehicles.
• Maintains grounds of Waite Park office including lawn care maintenance (mowing, trimming and leaf blowing). Manages sprinkler system, lawn treatment and snow removal services. Performs light snow removal. Ensures that walkways and parking areas are safe for vehicle and foot traffic.
• Maintains office and warehouse areas in professional and sanitary manner.
• Maintains adequate supplies of convenience items used in the office and warehouse.
• Ensures that trash and recycling are ready for pick up on designated days. Serves as primary point of contact for refuse hauler.
• Travels between Waite Park and Brooklyn Park offices to perform routine maintenance, supply/material delivery and inventory processes.
• Tracks and controls movement and inventory of all power equipment.
• Conducts periodic audits and equipment inventories within EnviroTech customer site storage areas.
• Maintains inventory cage, equipment storage areas and equipment repair bench in an organized and professional manner. Maintains an adequate inventory of spare parts for routine and emergency equipment repairs.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to make basic equipment and facility repairs.
• Ability to learn and use inventory management software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to meet deadlines.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Valid Driver’s license and driving insurance

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2 Years Inventory experience

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
