USPI Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a motivated Insurance Verifier to join our team. Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio the preferred facility for surgery in San Antonio. We boast state-of-the-art technology, the top surgeons and healthcare staff in our community. Our surgeon partners are renowned as the best in their field and are skilled in the latest surgical technologies.The Insurance verifier will interface with patients and families, physicians and staff, update patient demographics/information in system, verify insurance benefits, obtain proper authorization from insurance carrier. Determine what funds to collect upon admission. Notify patients of monies due and document in billing system. Other duties as required or requested by chain of command.

Required Skills:
Qualifications:
High school graduate
Minimum two years’ previous experience hospital insurance verification required.
Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties.
Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
Good communication skills.
Basic computer Knowledge-Word and Excel preferred
