The Grafton Job Corps Center is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Instructor to join our team! Here at Job Corps, we assist students ages 16-24 in getting the career skills to join the workforce. This class teaches our Advanced Training students in the trade of Manufacturing.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 7:45 am - 4:45 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $64,698.00 /year

The Career Technical Training Instructor for Advanced Manufacturing is responsible for the management and supervision of a class of 10 students pursuing careers in Advanced Manufacturing. In partnership with Instructional Staff at the Blackstone Valley Education Hub, train and mentor students for entry level positions in the Manufacturing Industry.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ideal candidate should have strong mathematical skills
AutoCAD experience and at least five years working in the Manufacturing Industry. Bachelors Degree preferred

• NIMS certification preferred.
• Highly experienced in the advanced manufacturing technology workspace ideally with experience working in industry as machinist, engineer, project engineer, manufacturing engineer or similar
• Must be fully conversant with modern machine tools including: lathes, mills, machining centers, gcode, 3D design CAD/CAM, metrology

Knowledge of safety basics to include: Shop Maintenance, PPE, OSHA, SDS, and Hazardous Communication.Candidate must meet eligibility to be on the Center Driving list.
