Position: Installation Technician, Non-Exempt

REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This position will report to the Production Manager.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Installation Technician is responsible for managing daily installation operations and activities. Drives installation revenue via strong customer relations, high quality installation, strong organization and overcoming installation obstacles.

WORKPLACE CONDITIONS
The employee will frequently use a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and viewing a computer screen. Employee may be required to sit for extended periods of time in front of a computer screen. Employee must work in manufacturing environment daily. Employee must wear required PPE.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Traveling to customers’ homes
- Removal and disposal of customers’ existing bath and shower systems (Following all Lead Safe work practices in homes prior to 1978)
- Installing bath and shower systems per company approved installation methods
- Maintaining a clean and safe jobsite for both installation team and homeowner
- Managing customer interactions and communications while on a jobsite via contract review, location determination of all finished products and reviewing all warranty, care and maintenance instructions
- Maintaining a clean and properly stocked installation vehicle
- Properly communicate with Production Manager via stage photos, text or phone communication of any nonstandard installs
- Responsible for driving a safety-minded jobsite culture and ensuring a safe work environment
- Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, OSHA, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
- Communicates consistently and effectively.
- Drives and exemplifies core values fostering a culture of growth and excellence.

- Delivers high quality and volume of work when working under pressure or with short turnaround times.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
- 1-2 years of progressive installation experience and responsibility
- Leadership skills to manage job site.
- Training skill to share and develop apprentice installers
- Must be dependable
- Strong team player
- Ability to effectively relate and communicate with all levels of employees and customers.
- Must be dependable and demonstrate thorough follow-up and responsiveness internally and externally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changes
- Must have valid driver’s license
