Inspectors will be monitoring printed circuit board and box level assemblies, ensuring that customer requirement and IPC criteria are met. Primary role is to identify and contain product issues within our facility.
RESPONSIBLITIES include, but not limited to:
- Inspecting assemblies, including reworks and components, by following instructions provided by leaders and engineers, ensuring they meet standards.
- Perform 2nd checks (visual inspections) to verify components with setup sheets
- Operate machines in order to inspect and locate defects.
- Recording inspection data.
- Ensure full compliance with quality standards and SOPs.
- Communicate with other departments regarding any major issues
- Support 5S+1 initiative within the team
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1-year electronic assembly and rework experience.
- Previous inspection experience is an asset.
- Basic hand soldering skill is an asset.
- Color identification is a requirement for this role
- Must be able to work afternoon shift and any daily or weekly overtime.
