Job Summary and Qualifications

At Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, our Inpatient Rehab unit hosts a variety of diagnoses including, but not limited to stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s and MS, trauma, orthopedics, pulmonary and cardiac conditions. In addition to demonstrating the knowledge and skill to provide nursing care to the Rehab patient, you will also be required to perform job tasks to ensure personal, patient and department safety. • You will oversee nursing services, physical environment and staff development
• In order to foster a mentoring environment, you will integrate organizational and department values, mission and strategic planning
• You must effectively analyze and integrate interdepartmental resources into performance objectives for patient outcomes and customer satisfaction action plans as indicated
• To effectively manage department staff, you will interview, hire, train and/or handle disciplinary actions/terminations in collaboration with the Program Director and Human Resources

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN/MSN preferred)
• Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
• CRRN certification is preferred
