We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Inpatient Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Medical industry. This is a full-time position that requires the candidate to have a minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical, Emergency Department, Perioperative, Operating Room, PACU, ICU, Critical Care, Labor and Delivery, Telemetry, NICU, or CVICU.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an inpatient setting, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and performing diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assess and evaluate patient conditions and report any changes to the physician.
- Administer medication and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care plans and treatment options.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical, Emergency Department, Perioperative, Operating Room, PACU, ICU, Critical Care, Labor and Delivery, Telemetry, NICU, or CVICU.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- BLS certification.
