Job Description

Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc., a growing manufacturer of new fire apparatus and is seeking a full-time vehicular painter to join our Company which manufactures custom designed premium fire apparatus. Recognized in the industry for a quality product, the individual we are seeking should have experience in the vehicular painting field, have training & knowledge of color matching and/or mixing, be versatile, self-starting, creative problem solver, - able to follow a job through to completion. The individual will be part of the team but productive working independently without supervision much of the time.

Responsibilities

• Prep, sand, prime, paint, and buff truck parts or complete fire truck bodies.
• Repair and paint areas on damaged trucks, including some rare and random body work for our Service Department.
• Review all work with painter and perform other miscellaneous duties.
• Assist in the smooth flow of work through the production shop.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Automotive paint experience.
• Must be able to mix products, perform mill checks, readings and perform pain preparations.
