Job description

We are currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd shift to join our team at our manufacturing facility located in North East, PA. Ridg-U-Rak is one of the largest pallet rack and storage rack manufacturers in North America.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of industrial machinery and equipment
• Trouble shoot, and repair of hydraulics and pneumatics, power transmission and gearing and oven blowers and burners and all other manufacturing equipment
• Performs preventative maintenance
• Tests malfunctioning machinery and discuss malfunction with other maintenance workers, such as Maintenance Electrician or other mechanics or Maintenance Supervisor to diagnose malfunction
• Proactively identifies mechanical problems before they cause breakdowns
• Overtime may be required
• Maintain a safe and orderly work area
• Occasional heavy lifting
• Other duties as required

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Certification or technical degree preferred.
• 2+ years Maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of hydraulics, gear boxes, transmissions, clutches and brakes, welding, lubrication systems and bearings, oven blowers and burners desired.
• Requires a well-rounded and experienced knowledge of the practices, tools, equipment and materials used in assigned skill trade area.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
