Seeking an Equipment Maintenance Mechanic for a food manufacturing Aurora, IL. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience with food manufacturing equipment involving conyers belts, line change-overs, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic motors. Direct hire opportunity.

salary: $58,240 - $62,400 per year

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on wide variety of packaging and processing equipment
• Specifies parts required. Orders if needed, and makes needed repairs based on PM
• Assists with training new and/or less skilled maintenance and production personnel
• Troubleshoots basic electrical problems using various test equipment and ladder logic diagrams
• Troubleshoots mechanical problems using various measurement equipment and mechanical expertise
• Devises, plans, and completes mechanical upgrades, modifications, and overhauls
• Completes changeovers on production lines by following changeover check sheet and recommends modification to the sheet as needed
• Performs routine daily setup and adjustment of all production equipment
• Experience with Bartlets machines and cartoners or other horizontal pouch fill machine
• Experience in Food Industrial Environment and Good Manufacturing Practices
