GL Staffing is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with experience for manufacturer with great opportunity to grow within the company.

Pay rate: $23-$28 an hour depending on experience

Schedule: 6am- 4pm

Training until June will be in Pompano

After training June- company will be onsite in Miami Lakes

Job Description

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties

Responsibilities

Observes mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble when not operating properly

Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove/repair defective parts.

Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.

Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.

Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.

Repairs or replaces defective parts.

Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.

Lubricates and cleans parts.

Runs devices to test their performance.

Initiates purchase order for parts and machines and other equipment.

Repairs electrical equipment.

Company will move to a their new facility in Miami Lakes but meantime the candidates with train at their Pompano Beach location. Company will pay for travel time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
